We’re pretty sure we’re getting treated to a rather impressive guerilla PR blitz prior to the release of Casey Affleck’s upcoming ‘documentary’ about Phoenix’s career switch from acting to uh, terrible hip-hop music.

Every time Phoenix has had an odd Norman Mailer-towards-the-end public moment, Affleck’s camera have been rolling to capture the whole thing.  We can probably expect the “leak” of some sort of bizarre staged sex tape next.

If Phoenix starts taking on female wrestlers, we’ll know for sure it’s a hoax – or he’s having an especially bad trip.
